Ty Story

Item #5127

(November, 1990) Ty is named for the legendary baseball player, Ty Cobb (1886-1961). He’s sitting on a corn cob, and the Mexican coin in his pocket also shows an ear of corn. Little Ty has bird prints on the soles of his baseball shoes, and a bill on his traditional pointed hat. His peach pit and baseball bat honor the Georgia Peach’s lifetime batting average of .367. For Ty and all the other boys of summer, the baseball diamond is his field of dreams. If you’re close enough, you may hear him whisper, “If you build it, I will come.”
