(March, 1983) This fellow went to the South Bend Plate Collector’s Convention in 1983. It was so crowded that he couldn’t find a room. He therefore had to sleep under his leaf tent. He had to leave his wife at home, because there is “No Dame” in South Bend! Still, he has a little ladybug to keep him company. The Indian head penny is in honor of Indiana.
