Molly Story
Item #1195
(July, 1987) Named for my aunt, Molly has just finished emptying her pail of milk, after having milked the cows before sunrise. And now, before breakfast, she has a few moments to herself. With this precious quiet time, she has turned to her comfortable friend, the Bible. It fits so easily on her lap, after years of just such sitting and reading. She has turned to her beloved, timeless passages, which never grow stale: Psalm 23 and Isaiah 40. In a few moments she will be able to “run and not be weary.”
