(May, 1978) This fellow is the head of the Gnomes, as presented in the Book of Gnomes (1976 Uniebock B.V.) and illustrated by Rien Poorvliet. This was the first statue that we made, and I had to do a good job on him in order to get the other Gnomes to pose for me! The Forest Gnome has not yet revealed his name to me, which is one of many secrets of the tribe that he safeguards.
